TWO GREAT CAUSES

It’s been a while since posting on this blog. I have had an eventful year, three surgeries in all. One to repair that foot I broke in January 2012 skiing and two more on my right hand to fix carpal tunnel (hazard of the pastry bag) and trigger finger. Everything is healing nicely and looking forward to an uneventful 2014 !!!

Thought I would share with you a couple of cakes from two October Fundraisers in Kemptville.

This first one was for the auction table at The Beth Donovan Hospice 14th Annual Fall Extravaganza. In all they raised $38,000 dollars at this years sold out event.

This second one was for The 2^nd Annual North Grenville Spaghetti Fest benefiting The United Way. Held at The North Grenville District High School, this event raised over $2,600.
